Caroliner Rainbow - Videos

Excerpt from their wiki:

Caroliner (formed in 1982, in San Francisco) is an Industrial Bluegrass/Experimental/Noise conceptual art Costume Rock band, dedicated to creating a fever dream ofAmerican psychedelia - utilizing bluegrass music instruments, weird effects, other-worldly pageantry, and day-glo character outfits similar to those of a "Disneyland ride with a Spike Jones and his City Slickers sense of individuality."

Here is their myspace.  This musical act is a bit out there and it's totally dope!!

I've heard of the seasonally-themed compilations from Peppermill Records before, but I guess my ears weren't ready at the time. I'm giving a fresh listen to some tracks and I'm blown away.

A TIMELESS MOMENT WITH KARRIEM RIGGINS AND THUNDERCAT

Excerpt from VTech:

Thundercat played Williams’, “Proto-Cosmos,” and Karriem knew the song straight away. Immediately they began to play. B+happened to be standing there with camera in hand, and was fortunate enough to capture this joyful moment. Here it is, free, happy, improvised and spectacular. Just what music is about.
